Unlike Electrosurgery unit , the harmonic surgical system uses ultrasonic vibrations instead of electric current to cut and cauterize tissue. It composed by generator , transducer , scalpel and footswitch and It's mainly used in ENT surgery, head-neck surgery, breast surgery, thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, abdominal surgery, urology MIS and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
